Chief Executive Officer and DirectorMr. Simon was appointed Chief Executive Officer and a director of HALO Branded Solutions in February 2001. He was recently honored as the “Person of the Year” by the industry’s leading trade publication, Counselor. Prior to joining HALO Branded Solutions, Mr. Simon spent 22 years in private law practice and five years as a leading executive in the call center industry. Mr. Simon is a CPA and has a BS in accounting and a J.D. from the University of Illinois.
Chief Customer OfficerAs Chief Customer Officer, Jeffrey Fina oversees HALO Recognition’s Customer Experience, Marketing, Product Development, and Business Development teams and has been critical in helping the company maintain high growth and client retention rates. Jeffrey was instrumental in HALO Branded Solutions’ acquisition of Michael C. Fina and led the former company’s transition into what is now HALO Recognition. Since then he has overseen the development of products and solutions that have made it the leading one-source provider of employee recognition programs, incentive strategies, and branded promotions. Jeffrey’s commitment to excellent client care sets the bar for our customer service promise and drives HALO Recognition’s partnerships with some of the most complex and highest-performing companies in the world.
Senior VP, Recognition OperationsWith a strong background in technology and systems development, Michael A. Fina has helped HALO Recognition become a respected, dynamic, and forward-thinking operation. Michael is noted within the organization and the industry for designing and implementing HALO Recognition’s cutting edge web-based recognition systems, as well as launching and enhancing the industry’s leading recognition programs for numerous Fortune 100 companies. Michael frequently travels around the country to speak with senior executives on how to engineer, design, and implement effective and efficient global recognition solutions. He also authored a book in 2009 titled Perspectives on Managing Employees, providing his view on various topics that affect managers and their teams. Michael demonstrates his commitment to growth by his membership in Recognition Professionals International, the Incentive Marketing Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, and WorldatWork. He is on the Board of Trustees of the NYC Chapter of LLS as well as actively involved with the Better Business Bureau, the Queens Chamber of Commerce, and the Long Island City Partnership. In his spare time, Michael serves as a volunteer fireman in his hometown of Long Beach. Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University.
Senior Vice President of GlobalSheila Sheldon serves as Senior Vice President of Global for HALO Recognition. She is responsible for overseeing operations at the UK headquarters in Wokingham, England, as well as operational management for all regions outside North and South America. In her role, she ensures best practice applications of our services worldwide that reflect consistent, appropriate, and efficient employee recognition programs to HALO Recognition’s multinational customers. Sheila joined HALO Recognition in 2005 when the company purchased her employer, Longservice.com. She began with Longservice.com in 1990 and has held several positions, starting as a part-time Sales Associate and Account Manager, and later serving as Office Manager and Operations Director. With an extensive background in HR, her previous experience includes tenure as an HR Generalist for British Airways, as well as work in the Telecommunications industry. She began her career with an engineering company, where she met her husband. Sheila was born in Taplow and educated at St. Bernard’s Convent School. She attained her degree in Business from Thames Valley University. Married with two daughters, Rebecca and Laura, Sheila has a passion for good food and enjoys cooking and entertaining with family and friends. She dreams of someday owning a “Michelin Star” restaurant.
Vice President, Marketing & CommunicationsServing as the Head of Marketing for over a decade, Cord Himelstein has helped HALO Recognition become one of the leading providers of employee recognition and incentive programs. Since 2007, he has been responsible for leading the company’s strategic marketing initiatives and communications efforts. Cord works closely with customers to help them develop measurable workforce recognition strategies and create memorable experiences for their employees. Cord is also a recognized thought leader in the human resources community, and is a regular contributor to our corporate blog, where his articles have enjoyed national exposure through major HR publications including SHRM, Workspan, TLNT, Smartbrief, and Entrepreneur. Prior to joining HALO Recognition, Cord worked in the entertainment industry for more than 15 years, where he held senior positions with Elektra Entertainment and EMI Music Group, and contributed to the success of numerous artists including Missy Elliott, Janet Jackson, Fabolous, Metallica, AC/DC and many others.
Vice President of Customer ExperienceElaine Sciarretta is an accomplished marketing professional with broad experience in customer engagement, product/partner management, and rewards programs. As our Vice President of Customer Experience, she is responsible for the overall management, direction, and development of our customer-facing operations, including project management and customer service. Elaine came to HALO Recognition with over 20 years’ experience from leading organizations such as Citi and MasterCard, where her keen problem-solving skills and leadership acumen greatly impacted customer loyalty and long-term profitability. At Citi she was honored many times with company accolades for excellence, quality, and leadership, and has advised on customer retention strategies for several global Fortune 100 corporations. A member of the American Marketing Association, Elaine holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from University of Bridgeport, CT, and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing from the Sacred Heart University – John F. Welch College of Business.
Vice President, Achievement SolutionsMichele leads the Achievement Solutions business at HALO Recognition with oversight on all clients utilizing our points-based platform and product development.
